OMG!... We are Half-Way there!

OMG! Can you believe that Baby "BOG" is at his/her half-way mark to entering this world and making our life complete?!

I sit back and think about where Frank and I were in March and the loss that we had to endure. But knowing that God had His plan all along is what helped us going forward and now knowing that we are getting to experience the joy of life all over again. We truly are blessed and thank God every day and moment.

Baby News and Visit to New Jersey

Last week Frank and I had our ultrasound appointment for Baby "BOG". It was the best experience (so far) for us new parents-to-be! Frank could not contain his excitement and bombarded the tech with so many questions! It was the cutest thing to see his excitement and anticipation! Following are a few of the photos we received:





After our appointment we left town! We decided to take a last minute trip to New Jersey to visit his family and friends and just to get away from our everyday routines.

We made it in town just in time to catch the Washington Nationals vs Philadelphia Phillies game! It was a good game... great seats... but unfortunately the Phillies lost.

Frank spent Saturday with his buddies playing golf and I spent the day with the my mother-in-law, grandmother-in-law and nieces. We had a blast... they were so excited to go back to school shopping! Later in the evening we got together with our friends and caught up and made some new laughs!

Sunday was a wet day... spent the morning with his father, step-mother, sister and nieces and then went to the mall do a little browsing and shopping just for fun. LOOK WE GOT!


FINALLY... after the four years we have been together, Frank finally took me to the "shore". PS... they (being New Jersians) refer to their beaches as the "shore"! Frank and I brought along his best friend, Louie, and his wife, Michelle, to Ocean Isle, New Jersey. We got there in time for lunch and walked along the boardwalk and visited all of the local shops. We even managed to spend a little time in the arcade just for fun! It was definitely a beautiful day with light winds and low heat. Here a few photos:









This weekend we are looking forward to another fun weekend! Our friends are all gathering for a cookout... it's been a few weeks since we have seen each other. And then Sunday... we are going to finish painting and other items in the nursery! I can't wait to show you photos when the room is complete!

Wednesday will be week 20! OMG!

18 WEEKS!

Only 2 more weeks and we are half way there! VERY EXCITING!

I have definitely felt the changes recently, I feel like I am already "waddling" around! I have also felt the little flutters of baby movements and the reduced size of my bladder... that may have been a "TMI" moment! I am doing very well these days... going to the gym at least three times a week, eating/snacking more regularly and even a mid-night snack every once in a while. I have more energy throughout the day, but long weekend projects take their tool on me by Sunday afternoon.

Frank and I have an ultrasound scheduled for Friday... this would be when we found out of baby "BOG" is a Boy or Girl. But as most of you know... we are opting to not find out! So when I do post the photo... search for yourselves :-)

Frank and I are going to Jersey for a long weekend. Of course, I always look forward to these trips to be able to get our of Charlotte and visit with his family and friends. But this is definitely going to be a more exciting visit as we continue to share the growth of the baby belly and the experience! And of course... getting in a Phillies game!!
