Another Birthday Celebration

Frank and I got back from our Texas trip on Friday (March 20), in time for him to go to work on Saturday. We already asked our friends to join us out later for my birthday celebration and a fun evening out. As usual... we all had a great time! Below are some photos throughout the evening!

Texas Trip

Last week Frank and I spent our vacation in Texas so he could meet the rest of my family! We left on Friday, March 13 and drove to Mississippi and drove the rest of the trip to Texas on Saturday. It was an interesting drive... my grandmother was with us! We made good time until we got aout 40 minutes over the Texas state line and Frank got pulled over! Luckily he only got a warning... but if I was driving we probably would have got the ticket!

I was able to show Frank around the areas and the homes I grew up in. One day Frank played golf with my grandmother while I spent a day with my Mom... we spent a day at Cabela's (his favorite outdoor supply store that is NOT in Charlotte)... an afternoon at the Fort Worth Stockyards... a day at Six Flags Over Texas... an evening with my family almost every night... and enjoyed a YUMMY cake my sister made for me on my birthday! We had a great time... below are some photos!

UPDATES...

I wanted to update everyone on our progress and how much we have planned thus far.

The last weekend in February, Frank and I went back to Emerald Isle, NC to look at a couple of houses that we could not decide on. After discussing set-up options and sleeping availability, we finally decided on house! (That's #1)

While at Emerald Isle we met with a photographer that we saw online and recommended by the realtor helping us with our house selection. After meeting with her and getting some GREAT tips/ideas from her, we have decided that she would be our best option. (That's #2)

One of the photographers suggestions was to visit a local florist that has good options and is great at last minute or emergency situations, so we stopped in. We discussed with her the ideas of the flowers/boutonnieres and was able to meet the price I was going for with an online service... AWESOME! (That's #3)

Last week we had a meeting at a local Country Club about hosting the "Celebration Reception" to celebrate with family and friends who will not be attending the ceremony/reception at Emerald Isle. The options were fantastice and the VIEW is fantastic! I think we are sold! (That's #4)

We can't help to get more ecstatic each time we have accomplished something on our long list! We are always getting new ideas from people we talk to and websites. Thanks to everyone is has been a great help to us at this point!
