OK... so I haven't 'blogged' in a while... so let's start back with this fun tag from Missy!
1. I recently married (May 7) the best man a lady could ask for in Emerald Isle, NC.
2. My favorite movie is Wizard of Oz that takes place in Emerald City (funny comparison to #1)
3. I moved up in the world of CRSMCA. FYI... this is where I am employed, going on 11 years!
4. I always looking forward to visiting south Jersey... it's great to get out of Charlotte and go somewhere that I am familiar with all at the same time!
5. I began running marthons with one of my best friends(Missy)... but it has been extremely hard to get back in the swing since June. And it really disappoints me.
6. I love spending time with my friends and family... I hold them close to my heart!
7. My favorite show of all time is General Hospital. I have watched it since I was 5 yrs old... and I would absolutely love to visit the set.
8. I hate it when it rains because our dogs get in the wonderful clay/dirt that is in the Carolinas... and you can never get it all off. So what color do you think our carpet is?? I can't wait to put in hardwood floors!
9. Frank and I had to visit the AT&T store over the weekend and even though I just got a new phone in February... I so want the new Blackberry Torch!
10. I never have time to watch tv, so I DVR everything ad never have time to catch up before my settings are full.
WHEW... that was not easy. I think I exerted a lot of enery just thinking of all of that!
Stay in touch... I'm getting back to this world! :-)

Since Easter...
Hey everyone... again I have fallen behind! I hope you all understand why I am behind all of the time ;-)
EASTER WEEKEND...
Easter weekend Frank and I went to New Jersey to visit with his family (well... I did!). Frank actually had his bachelor party with his buddies that weekend. He had a great time... Saturday morning they golfed and in the evening they went to dinner and a few clubs in Philly.
Friday night we went to a preseason Phillies game with his dad and step-mom. It was tons of fun... great seats and we even got to see a few friends that went to the game as well!

(bad picture... I know... guy who took it was a little "under the weather")
Frank's oldest niece (Eileen) had her soon the weekend prior to, so we were able to meet Mr. Nathan. He is absolutely adorable... of course!

I spent most of my time with his mom and sister... which hasn't been done in a while! I got to go with everyone to pick out their Easter Sunday/wedding attire dresses :-) It was such a blast!

Easter Sunday was spent at his mom's with his family. We put together an egg hunt for the three youngest neices. OH... and of course there was yummy food!
SINCE WE HAVE BEEN HOME... we have had practice for Little Leage twice a week and a few Saturday games.
I was preparing for an 8K (5 miles) run-race with my best friend (Missy). We ran the race in 57 minutes... and it felt fantastic! Our next race is May 1, 5K (3 miles). We began this new hobby a few months ago and we have decided to try and possibly do a half-marathon at the end of the year. It is great motivation to stay active and in shape. We are having tons of fun with it!

Most of our weekends are consumed with Little League, Frank working and me prepping (you know what for!). This past weekend we went to Hilton Head Island, SC for a quick business trip for me and then drove another 6 hours to Emerald Isle, NC to get our marriage license and meet one last time with our event coordinator! But now that all of that is done... things are starting to calm down!
All of the planning is done... Frank is going out of town for a week for work... and I am getting the "total relaxation" mode!!
14 DAYS and counting... only 7 days of work left :-)

BUSY DAYS AHEAD!
Little League season has started! For those of you who may not know, I have been assisting my Dad coach Little League Baseball (Boys, 10 and under) for the past three years. Frank got involved after our first year! Since the 2nd weekend in March, we have been spending about two or three nights and Saturdays at the practice field with the boys getting ready for the season opener on March 27!
The boys are fantastic... they have great spirit for the game and learning! A lot of them have played since they were toddlers and that helps with them being able to assist their other teammates!
This past weekend we had a "Player/Parent" Scrimmage game! The boys were victorious in their win and were very proud of themselves. They all played great! Afterwards, they all enjoyed a picnic lunch with some more fun play.

Earlier Saturday morning, my best friend (Missy) and I ran in our first 5K run race! The both of us have been preparing for this day for the past couple of months. However, she has been running outside and I have continued to run inside on the treadmill. I have to say... it was a huge difference for me! We completed the run in a little over 35 mins. From what I hear... it was an awesome completion time considering it was our first run race! That was awesome to hear! We are definitely motivated to shorten our time for the next race in April (8K run)! BUT... I am going to prep myself with more running time outside!

Frank and I are getting closer to our big day... 45 days! We have narrowed down our final check list and getting things ready to go. At this point we are waiting to make some final payments... give counts... provide ceremony details... and provide music information. This upcoming weekend I have my bachelorette party and a few of Frank's friends in Charlotte are putting together a little surprise for him as a bacholor party! I hope to show you all a few photos of our fun night!
Between work... visiting the gym... Little League practice... planning the wedding... taking care of McGraw and Kayla... spending time together and with family and friends... we are staying pretty busy!
Please don't think we have forgotten about any of you if you don't hear from us in the next six weeks... we are so looking forward to seeing you in May! ;-)

A Sweet Surprise...
A few weeks ago I spent the weekend in New Jersey to visit with Frank's mom (Eileen) and to attend his neice's (Eileen) surprise baby shower! She is having a boy, Nathan Alexander, due around mid-March.
Let me tell you... I have never seen so much snow in my life! I got a few photos of Eileen's street...

These are turkeys that visit regularly for food!

I had a great time helping Eileen prepare for the party... and I got to build a few of her surprise gifts! She received a ton of cloths, blankets and necessities for the first few weeks of his life! I am so excited for her and I can't wait to meet Mr. Nathan!
Following are a few photos that I took:

A piggy bank I painted for Nathan ;-)

Catching Up on 2010
Well I left you all hanging in 2009... 2010 has been a great year so far though! We are getting to the "final" count down until the wedding. But before that, I should update you all on our lives...

JANUARY - In an effort to help out my cousin, she has moved in with us for a few months until she can get on her feet. She has been a great help with McGraw and Kayla... I'm sure they will miss her when she leaves!
Frank and I celebrated the new year with our friends in downtown Charlotte... of course we had a fantastic time! I even got away for a weekend in late January with just a few of my closest girlfriends... it was definitely needed!
Frank and I went to one of my best friend's from high school sons 1st birthday party! He was the most handsome guy there! He was shy about his gifts but LOVED his cupcake! i wish I would have been smart enough to take photos... but you all know how kids get with cake in front of them! It was truely an honor to be a part of that special day!
FEBRUARY - Everyone's heard about the big "Toyota" recall... Frank has been busy at work with the extra cars. I'm sure he will be looking forward to the downtime soon!
We have taken part in a few celebrations in the past couple of weeks... one of our closest (my best) friend, bought a new house and celebrated another birthday!

WEDDING DETAILS - 10 WEEKS (and a few days)... We have just about 90% of everything purchased or completed for the wedding day... just have to wait on the RSVP's at this point ;-) I have completed my dress fitting, just patiently waiting to pick it up!l
My wonderful bridesmaids gave me a bridal shower a few weeks ago. We got some more amazing gifts that we could not be more thankful for. We had fun rearranging our home to get everything where we would like it! NEXT... we are looking forward to our bacholor/bacholorette parties... Frank's will be in Jersey, mine will be in Charlotte!
MISCELLANEOUS GREAT NEWS! - Frank and I went car shopping... and I got a new Toyota Camry! It's a HUGE step up from the basic Toyota Corolla that I had for the past five years. This one is a sports edition with a power locks/windows, sunroof, leather seats that heat up, and some other features that I won't bore you with... but I WILL share a photo!

Just wanted to share a couple of photos of McGraw and Kayla! Kayla will be celebrating her 1st birthday on February 26... in her photo, she is laying on Daddy... whom she can't stand to be without! I will post some more after the weekend! ;-)
